Aerial photography drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), often referred to as an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) or, more popularly, as a drone, that is operated remotely or autonomously used for photography.

Drone photography enables the recording of pictures and audio/video that would otherwise be impossible for human photographers and videographers. Drones' ability to fly, tiny size, or resistance to harsh circumstances can all contribute to this capability. A first-person view (FPV) that would otherwise be difficult to acquire is frequently made feasible by drone photography.
